Description
You play as Robby Roto, a red round fellow with spindly legs and wearing a miner's cap. At the start of each level, you are shown a maze-like path amongst hard stone which is then covered in dirt. You can burrow a path through the dirt areas and if you lose track of where you can go, small yellow arrows show you at each spot. Your goal is to free your friends, round yellow frowny faces in a box and bring them all to the exit to advance. Simply run across them and they will change to yellow smiley faces which will follow you. You have to avoid various enemies within the maze such as spiders, disembodied mouths and pterodactyls. Spiders can recapture your friends if they touch them and will take them up to be locked up in another part of maze.
Collect a key to open locked door. You can use a magic Roto once per level. It allows you to run through monsters, removes the disembodied mouth and lets you go through locked door for a period of time. Bonus scores are given at then end of each level based on treasures gathered and how many friends you rescue at one time. You get an extra life if you complete 3 levels. The mazes will become more complex and the enemies faster with each level.
